As part of its core offering, Bhadala included an inbuilt wallet management system to track balances, fees, and revenue for both riders and drivers. The company began its journey in South Africa and quickly expanded its client base to institutions across the United States. 

However, as new clients came on board, Bhadala discovered that its existing wallet system was vendor-locked and couldn’t serve the needs of their new clients.

Bhadala’s wallet system couldn’t support clients outside South Africa, creating an urgent need for a flexible solution that could work globally and integrate easily into their platform.

Efficient transaction handling

Bhadala used Blnk Core's transaction capabilities, such as inflight and multi-destination support, to efficiently manage complex payment flows during trips.

This helped them ensure accurate transfers between riders and drivers, while accurately deducting applicable fees, ensuring a seamless and trustworthy payment process.

Custom integration support

Bhadala’s team integrated their Stripe payment system with the Blnk Ledger to manage financial transactions effectively. Blnk took charge of the transaction logic, balance updates, and record-keeping within the application, while Stripe handled payment processing.

This ensured Bhadala’s ledger stayed current and accurately reflected user balances after every Stripe-processed deposit and payout, streamlining their financial management.
